I was really impressed with the friendly staff and the lovely bar area that made me feel right at home. The nearby Spencers Garden and the Colne Valley Railway were perfect for my weekend strolls.

Everything felt clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated the thoughtful touch of homemade biscuits. Just wish the shower had better drainage. it got a bit slippery. pretty pleasant!

Room facilities delivered mixed experiences. while the space was spotlessly decorated, the lack of air conditioning made it feel like a hot house in the daytime heat, struggling against outside noise from traffic and roadworks. I found navigating the disabled access bathroom challenging at my height, with a wetroom set up that wasn't particularly user-friendly. Opening the windows proved a frustrating endeavor due to locks that took ages to disengage, not exactly a comfortable situation if an emergency arose. Housekeeping also hit a snag with cleanliness. I noted the carpet needed a vacuum, and the hospitality tray hadn't been restocked properly, which was less than ideal.
